Ashley West Photography was officially born in early 2011. What started as a gifted camera in 2008, quickly turned into a passion, switching my major to photography in college, and starting my own business. It has been an amazing ride where I have had the opportunity to shoot over 300 weddings, and upwards of 2,000+ portrait sessions. I am incredibly passionate about documenting the true love between people and the innocent sweetness of children.
I spent the first 13 years of my career with a heavy focus on weddings. As my own family grew I slowly transitioned into prioritizing photographing more families. In the Summer of 2022 I was diagnosed with cancer. As you can imagine this changed my life in one million ways, one of them being that I decided to retire from weddings completely. It was a great run, and I miss it dearly, but I know focusing my efforts on photographing families is exactly what I am meant to be doing at this time.
